Piep x Quiet Lines Design Stoneware Planter
This variant is currently sold out
Almost a year ago, I was at a pop up one town over in Redlands, California. Shirlee, an artist and ceramicist, was there as a vendor with her new baby. We commiserated about motherhood and pregnancy and newborns and owning your own businesses. As we chatted, we came up with an idea: a line of custom designed, handmade, stoneware planters. Shirlee and I discussed all the things we wanted in a great planter, and she worked on a few iterations before we settled on these beauties. They come in green, white, and black, and each pot is approximately 5" wide at the top (outer dimensions), 3.5" wide at the bottom, 4.5" tall, and should fit any 4" plant perfectly. You've probably noticed we're pretty passionate about bottom watering and adequate drainage, so every pot has 3 drainage holes to make bottom watering a breeze. We hope you love them as much as we do!
The nature of clay beckons me to connect with the rhythm of repetition. While creating, my hands repeat shapes, gestures, and tasks. However, the true joy is found in the fact that no two pieces I make are exactly alike. Pottery is a labor of love and my heart is a part of each piece I create. It is my hope that as you cherish your piece of pottery you will gain a new sense of wonder: what was once earth has now been formed into a beloved vessel. Thank you for supporting local businesses and enriching your home with handmade pottery.
